SIBOL Squares!

There's a lovely lady called Sue who spends her spare time making beautiful blankets to donate to elderly care homes-people all over send her granny squares for these blankets or take part in her special 'Challenges'.  She's making a huge 'Olympic themed' blanket which will be auctioned to raise money for people suffering with Alzheimer's.  I've wanted for a while to send some squares and finally have some to offer!

I hope she likes them :-)

You should really have a lot at her blog: http://sunshineinternationalblanketsoflove.blogspot.co.uk/
and if you can crochet or knit, send her some squares!  Each one will be hugely appreciated and will go towards spreading some love where it is desperately needed.

  1. Hi Liz,
Many, many thanks for the wonderful squares received today! They are really nice and it will be my pleasure to put them in the olympic blanket and my stash for SIBOL. The Flower bookmark was such a treat too!
I have been reading your blog and I must say your daughter is just the prettiest thing. What fun you have been having together. I wish my girls were little again, now 26 and left home! 'recently' too. I wish I had those childhood days back again. Have lots of fun with her they grow up so quickly!
I have really enjoyed your posts and I'm pleased you have a 'creative' side to you which can be passed on to your daughter!
    Love, many thanks Suex

  3. It is time for the granny books to come out again! I try to do a few around Christmas when the usual craziness is over.
