Merry Christmas all! (or a blessed Solstice, whichever works better for you)

Ok, I know I've been lapse here but I've not been idle crafty-wise!  Many of the Yule gifts I gave this year I'd made :-) and although they were just little gifts, I'm pleased with how they turned out.  For my mother and my two sisters, I made pretty much the same thing-a cactus pin cushion and a set of 6 coasters.  However, I remembered to take photos of the coasters but forgot the cacti!  Hopefully Jess or Thea will upload some pics ;-)  the pattern I used for them came from here so have a look because they're very cute.  Here are the coasters though:

For a couple of close friends, I had hoped to do some kind of hanging decoration thingy but it didn't work out at all and I somehow managed to make 2 blankets in the space of a month (they both asked for blankets at some point but I was planning on doing them next year!) instead so here's Sarah's:

I really like making blankets as gifts-I'm planning one for myself soon as I get cold too but I'm so tempted to plan a couple as presents for my sisters :-)  if they would like that?

I made quite a few bits for Myf as well as part presents but that's going to be a whole separate post ;-)  As will be the beautiful presents I got this year!
